I'd like some feedback from ES300h owners - does your trunk open all the way up? I've set the torsion spring to the highest/strongest level, but it still doesn't lift it all the way up, it gets to maybe half way. I'm suspecting it's because the rear spoiler is weighing it down?

 

No issues on my 2019 ESh, but I also have the motorized one. Opens all the way when I hit the open button from dash or trunk.

 

Yes, motorized would be different. Mine is manual.

 

You could be right about the added spoiler...

 

Our 2019 ESh with standard springs opens all the way. It takes it a few seconds to complete that last part of the “arc” however. I guess what I’m getting at is that it slows down a bit after the initial burst. We have not adjusted the springs from the factory setting.

 

No issue at all 2019 ES300H. it opens in a fluid like motion.
