Default Map updates for factory nav?

I asked for a nav map update for my 2019 es350 while getting the fuel pump recall done at my dealer here in Ottawa Canada. I was told by the service advisor that he was unable to order the part and to check back in the fall. My current map data is from early 2018 and has never been updated.
Has anyone in Ontario had a map update to their 2019 ES?

I cannot answer your question as I don't live in Ontario, but it raises a parallel question. Do we need to do map updates with this version of the Nav system as long as our vehicle has an active subscription to the dynamic navigation? I'm just wondering how often we should update and if there is even a reason to do so. In theory, an "updated" version should be the same as the regular version that has been updated "dynamically" every so often. My guess is that they will be the same or else the dynamic updating isn't working properly. Just wondering out loud here...

It is the 12” display factory nav included with the Mark-Lev system that I have with the UL model ES. I have no “active subscription to the dynamic navigation” as far as I know. ... Karl

Interesting. I wonder if the Dynamic Navigation is only available in select markets.

Dynamic Navigation comes with the ES 350 with navigation here in the U.S.A. and is free for the first three years. After this period it costs $210.00 for an additional two years.
Can't say for Canadian owners... So if your car was purchased in 2018 you don't require any update until after the purchase date in 2021. My guess is that our northern friends get the same deal but don't know...
