Not sure where the poster pulled that one but that's exactly the one that I found browsing the Lexus.ca (Lexus Canada) site. There is also an 8" Touch Screen Listed for other models.
I think Lexus.ca just got their wires crossed and has the wrong information because 2020 ES350's on the ground now do not have touch screens.
I think it is too early to read anything into this. We have seen differences between Canadian models and US models in the past. For example, you can get HUD on a Canadian NX but not on a US NX (at least in 2016 when we purchased ours). Until someone from Canada can verify this, I don't think we have enough information to discount that the Canadian models may have touchscreens.
www.lexus.ca does mention a touchscreen for the ES. This is for the 8" screen. I can't find mention of touchscreen with the 12" monitor except for that "take-away" chart for the different packages.
I believe what that is saying is that the F Sport 1 does NOT get the 12.3" navigation, but Lexus Display Audio instead. Note it says Remove the touchscreen. The chart shows that all of the other trims get the embedded navigation, whereas F Sport 1 gets LDA and no navigation.
With that said, I believe it's in error and it shouldn't say "touchscreen".
Note that the chart does state you can get an F Sport with the 12.3" screen (the F Sport 2), but in Canada they have two different trim levels of the F Sport (1 and 2). Yours is no doubt closer to an F Sport 2 in Canada.
The Lexus Canada press release for the 2020 models state that both the Lexus Display Audio and the Embedded Navigation models use a remote touch, not a touchscreen.
All 2020 models are standard equipped with new Lexus Display Audio with Remote featuring an 8” screen and 10 speakers.
The 2020 Lexus ES Premium Package (starting MSRP: $49,250 for ES 350 and $51,200 for ES 300h) adds a number of new features for 2020 – including Lexus Navigation with Remote, Enform Destination Assist, 12.3” Display Audio screen, and power folding, reverse auto-tilting exterior mirrors.
The 2020 Lexus ES 350 F SPORT Series 2 (starting MSRP: $56,450) builds on the Series 1 package. New features for 2020 include Lexus Navigation with Remote, Enform Destination Assist Connect, a 12.3” Display Audio screen and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Audio System.
Called 2 dealerships in Canada they don't have them yet. Both dealers don't think that the 2020 will have a touch screen. the only thing i can think of is someone working on the RX documentation just copy pasted these fields.
personally I'm hoping for a touch screen I can't get used to the mouse and I am not a millennial.
