Hi all, I am trying to become a first time Lexus owner after a lifetime of Camrys. I have seen discussions regarding the October production having minor updates.

For those of you more familiar with Lexus can you give this newbie a general idea how production works?

When did Lexus begin production on the 2020s? I am curious how long it takes until we start seeing them in the showroom. Ultimately, I am trying to gauge when I would be buying a car produced in October.

 

According to their website, my dealer has two 2020s already. It looks like they are starting to arrive now.

 

Any idea when Lexus began production on the es350's just starting to arrive?

I have read statements such as, "...In a footnote, the company clarifies that only select vehicles from the October 2019 production of the 2020 ES and NX will have Android Auto support."

I am looking for a general sense of when I might be able to purchase from the aforementioned production run. Thx.

 

From what I've seen and read, the 2020 MY production started in July. If you're looking for a vehicle produced in October, the delivery would be either late November or December.
