How is Honda behind BMW, Mini, Chrysler, Ford etc and how is Chevy and Buick 4th and 5th....I call BS on JD Power Assoc.
Honda is awful these days. Read about their issues with oil/fuel dilution in their 1.5l turbo CRV engines. They're likely to be hit with class action lawsuits.

Yeah I am aware of the issues they are having with their 1.5L turbo engines but Honda is trying to do these people right from what I have read/heard. Other than that most of their products are solid. They also have Acura at the bottom of the list and other than some of the growing pains they have had with the new RDX and obviously some of the transmission issues on the TLX they are also a solid company overall.

They seem to have a huge issue going on with their CR-V's. Their "fixes", to date, have not been very successful. Check out their forum, it's quite entertaining.

Solid company overalll.... only when things remain constant
1) Transmission Failures have been a thing on Hondas since 2000s
2) Transmission failures back again when they went with FWD ZF 9speeds
3) 1st Gen RDX turbo motors were problematic at 100k
4) 1.5 turbo motor, again problematic
Doing right for owners is multiple SW updates which may or may not resolve the issue....I think if you get the bog standard V6 3.5 with their old 6 speed you really cannot go wrong. All their new motors and transmissions leave something to be desired for aka think of yourself as part of the testing group

Actually quite the opposite related to the fuel dilution issue. They are dancing around it because they have no fix. Acura struggling as well. My buddy had a TLX for one year year and finally dumped it after countless visits to the dealer for various issues.
