AFAIK, all 7ESs have the same driver's seat retraction (and return!) feature. IIRC, there are 3 options/settings-- full, half, and off. I prefer the half setting.

And as I said before, it has nothing to do with the remote start features.

I have a '19 and I can set the seat and steering wheel to retract when I shut the car off and when I RESTART the car after remote starting it and it shutting down when I open the door, the wheel and seat then reposition themselves. However, I have all of that shut off. The wheel and seat stays right where they're set, in or out, RS or not... And I'm probably older than both of you...LOL
