I have the CC2 on my Acura Mdx and we are putting them on the NX. They are a snow and ice oriented tire, probably the best I have ever used in Colorado. They are not a tire for the desired application. They are directional, can be a little noisy on certain roads and while much better than run flats, not a luxury tire.

Discount Tire who owns Tire Rack has a location in N Charleston. I buy my tires there and they know their stuff

They are so many Michelin... Depends what you buy. 90% of any tires what the company give 60-70 K warranty, they are not good and are chip. The one with 45-30 K are match better. What you pay it's wat you got....

The Lexus not going to install the best. Maybe the worst. You are lucky if you get 30K of them. It's your choice, your car. Michelin are one of the best.

Our household has an ES and an old Prius. The Prius has CC2's, and the ES has Quatrac Pro's. The CC2's do exactly what they're advertised to do in wet and snow traction. But with their noise level, I will not put them on the ES.

Now, I've read that the new CC3 generates a lower-frequency and therefore less conspicuous noise than CC2. I'll be interested to hear more opinions about that.

All manufacturers put a tire on that only lasts 20-30k. I took my Bridgestones off my Acura at 10k because they were terrible. Our new NX? The Bridgestones are coming off at 100 miles. They are a no go in snow!

let's see - about 30 or 35k on the oem Michelins, 50k on Goodyears with plenty still to go. Hmmmm which ones will I stay with.

I had the same experience with the Cross Climate II tires I put on my '19. Great traction in rain and snow. But, lower gas mileage and too noisy for my liking.

Great miles with the Goodyear. If you have your before and after alignment records when you put the Goodyears on I would appreciate seeing them for your 2017 ES350..

Thanks

You must have Amish Goodyears from the steel. Goodyears are 80% bad tires. The other 20% you pay enormous money for. You like those tires, no problem. But do not make others believe that they are great. Tires when is not true. Remember, this is a forum to learn. Michelin is recognized by everybody as one of the greatest in the world. Have a nice day.

MIkemu30 has the same experience with Goodyear Assurance tires as I have observed. I have a 2017 RX350. The OEM Michelins were replaced at 37k miles. The GY Assurance Maxlife replacements are equally quiet, fuel-efficient, better traction, but far more durable. At 45k miles, the tread depth is 7mm. On my 2019 ES300h, the Assurance Comfortdrive similarly outperforms the OEM Michelins.

I have great respect for the Michelin brand dating back to the original Michelin X tires. But in many applications, other manufacturers offer competitive alternatives.

How about every manufacturer has a range of products, including not the best ones mounted on new cars?

The Goodyears are great based on my experience with two different vehicles Or shall I say Goodyears are crap even though they perform for me better than Michelins?

Wrong again. I don't own the Michelin Co. I don't have Michelin. But the Michelin is better than the Goodyear 100% . For your novelty, I have Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus. Have a nice day......
