On my wifes 2016 ES you could set reminders based on milage or time for things like air filters, cabin filters, brake fluid and such. Is this not available in the 2025 UL? I sure cant seem to find it. I am wondering if there may be some type of work around.

 

The 2019 through 2022 model year ESs equipped with Dynamic Navigation (12.3-inch screen) did/does have the same sort of reminders functionality. That reminder functionality was eliminated in 2023 and later model year ESs with the change over to the "new" Lexus Interface with Drive Connect system.

A work-around for time-based reminders for maintenance items is pretty easy. There are plenty of available reminder and calendar-type programs that allow creation of recurring time-interval-based entries with notifications that a time-interval "event" for some specific "thing" has occurred. For quite a few phone/tablet/computer ecosystems, there is at least one reminder and calendar-type program pre-installed.

For mileage-based reminders, there is the Multi Information Display's (MID) 5,000-mile maintenance and 10,000-mile oil and filter change reminder system.

However, for anything more than those, unfortunately for mileage-based reminders, I don't think there are any clean, simple work-around solutions. The difficulty is in getting the vehicle's current mileage to compare against the triggering mileage parameter set for a reminder or calendar-based notification entry.

 

I use ODO B and reset to zero at every oil change. The system in my 19 does in fact remind me every 5k.

 

I get them on my 2024. I got one for my 15k service and it didn’t require an oil change. That was just to rotate tires, new wipers, and a couple of other minor things.
