Dealer damaged interior trim
Bought a ES350 F-Sport from an Acura dealership. It had a loose piece of driver side trim they told me they would fix on a follow-up visit. They bent and dented it and first claimed it was like that even thought we all had video of it. They called Lexus who told them the interior door panel would have to be replaced and now the Acura dealership doesn’t want to pay for it. Offered me $200. What would you do? Can just the trim be replaced?
I'd make them pay for it. If their local team doesn't want to cooperate, get in touch with their regional manager.
Long time ago when I went to get the tires replaced on my GS F Sport, the kid techs swapped the offset wheels without knowing. They mounted it and when I was backing out the car barely moved cause the brake caliper was rubbing the inner side of the wheel. Their local branch manager didn't do a damn thing so I escalated the issue. Regional manager ended up paying for 3/4 of the price of the set of tires and $600 check to do what I wanted with it; which was paint the brake calipers or just pocket the money. Free set of tires basically and some change.

Escalate, but be nice. You could just have a low level person who doesn't really get the business side of things and is just trying to be a bully. Always start soft and gradually work your way up the scale as well as the organization
