Good evening. Newbie here. I just purchased a 2019 Lexus ES350. I was under the hood checking fluids when I found a rubber piece in the area by windshield wipers on the plastic trim piece that runs along the top of the entire firewall. I couldn't find anywhere this piece might go.

Does anyone have an idea what this rubber piece goes to?

Thank you, thank you! That diagram was perfect and were you correct. It is an engine cover grommet. I pulled the cover and found not just one of the back ones missing but the other back one missing too. I got a flashlight and started looking around and sure enough it was laying on top of the engine. So the cover has all four grommets now.
