Do the ES350s (I have a 2024) come with any factory windshield coating? I picked up some Invisible Glass Glass Stripper, and had planned on putting on some glass coating I picked up. Before I went ahead and did anything I wanted to check and see if I would be doing more harm than good by removing any factory coatings.

Worse case scenario I'll just apply the stuff to my wife's windshield.

 

According to the 2024 LEXUS ES250, ES350 OWNER'S MANUAL USA AND CANADA ONLY , it is only the front side windows that have a water repellant coating (see page 295 "■ Front side windows water-repellent coating" section for cleaning precautions on those windows).

 

The windshield and the front side windows has water repellent coating.

 

Thanks gents, I'll apply it to the wife's car then...and then compare her's to mine and see what does a better job.

 

Would you mind sharing where you found the info that states that windshield has water repellant?
