25 ES 350 8th Gen ?

I've had a few Lexus V-8 cars (SCs) and a few with the V-6, including a '24 ES350 UL.
My RC350 had the V-6 but with more horsepower and more torque than my previous SC430. I find the ES 350 V-6 to be quite peppy enough. I cannot imagine putting a 4 cylinder engine into a car of this size, even with turbos (I've had turbos in my Audi 5000 Turbos). If they drop the V-6, I will understand customer reluctance. (I had a ride in a friend's full size Camry with a 4 cylinder engine, and it was awful. Slow and loud, and unable to move about nimbly.

V6...They'd have to keep it for the full 7 year life cycle for next gen, or drop it shortly after launch. Wouldn't make sense from a development cost, tooling, validation, testing sense. I just don't see it.
It's gotta scale economically with whatever offerings already exist in NX land or similar. You might see another ES300h with the 2025 Camry AWD setup, then ES350h with whatever is on the NX side 300 HP hybrid or thereabouts. If lucky, a model with more power and plug in from NX450h or whatever it is that gives it more power. it will be a copy paste, IMO.

They already dropped v6 in Australia for a long time.
We cannot get 350 here so I ended up with a 4 banger.
You are right.. It is not as fast as a v6 but Mustang in 1990s had the same power as the 4 cylinder es250

The question of whether the V6 would be available or not is why I moved on a 2024. As far as I'm concerned this NA V6 which runs on regular gasoline is perfect so I plan on keeping it a long time. Saying no to turbo engines won't be possible very soon.
