Does the 2-1 jerking happen more than say 10% of the time when slowing down? I have felt a jerk a few times when coming to a stop but only when the engine was cold and only a few times, its not repeatable. It's hard to tell if the car slows down or speeds up when it happens, its kind of strange.

I baby it now when I approach a stop sign so pretty much avoid it. It would behave like that though warm or cold. The biggest annoyance with this car which has otherwise been terrific. Mine is now 5+ years old with 72K on the clock.
