You have to add options onto the 2024 ES models to get those MSRPs. For the Ultra Luxury you have to add the only remaining costly options, triple beam headlights, panoramic glass roof, and Mark Levinson stereo, to even get close to $56,505 MSRP. Granted quite a few ES models are built with a lot of option add-ons now-a-days, but there's still quite a few lower MSRP non-Premium base ESs available.

[QUOTE=Catanzaro;11700618] I am not crazy about this Crown, some people love them.

I just saw a black on white Crown in the wild yesterday. I quickly decided it was one of the 5 ugliest vehicles I've seen a lot of uglies in my lifetime.

IMO, it is not an ugly vehicle, just not worth the price. The Crown is overseas from what I know, so it is not like Toyota created the car from scratch. They just ramped up production, or maybe they are even built over in Japan (who knows).

I am going in for my second free oil change 20K Service under Toyota Care, and after this, I will change my oil. I know it is a PIA to remove the cover (2016 is a breeze), but once a year not to have to deal with traveling 2 hours round trip, waiting 2 hours, and paying $100, is just not worth it.

I will purchase the oil filters at Toyota, but the oil will be Mobil 1 @ Costco. I doubt the oil will be at a fair price at the dealership. Need to show receipts that the oil is done on time. I also take pictures and videos to protect myself from future problems.
