2024 ES Air Conditioner Issue
I have a new 2024 ES350 with less than 8,000 miles on it. Air conditioner has quit working; local dealer says it is because a pebble punctured something on the unit, which is placed in front of the radiator, so it'll be $2K, thanks very much, because the warranty doesn't cover stuff like that. Has anybody heard of anything like this? I had a 2012 ES that virtually never had any problems other than a tendency to pull left no matter the alignment, but never anything structural like this. I've been a huge Lexus fan, but frankly I'm pretty frustrated by this.

I attempted to drive my almost new 2021 ES350 one morning and could barely turn the steering wheel. I assumed it would be a warranty repair but was soon informed by service advisor that apparently a rodent had chewed through the steering module wiring and it was a $5000 non warranty replacement cost. There was a little bit of haggling with State Farm but I was out of pocket only the $500 deductible. Didn’t affect my rates.
