How do I stop alarm horn sounding after I recharge and reconnect the battery ?
2013 ES 350battery diedfrom inactivity. I recharged it. Now when I reconnect the battery the horn alarm sounds and does not respond to the alarm button on the key fob.

Discharging then charging a battery over and over will cause sulphurization of the cells and kill the battery. What you need is a battery tender. When you plan on leaving the car for an extended period of time connect it and leave it on. When you return to start the car it will be fully charged... My '66 Corvette battery now 10 years old, stored each year for 6 months on a BT...

The ctek unit that xbroker linked has a desulpharization step. It is the first step, where the unit cycles voltage to desulphurize. It also serves as a battery tender. I have used it often on cars that sit around for a month or so at a time.
