do rain sensing wipers work well with snow?

Yes,
It snowed in the southeast about 2 weeks ago, the wipers performed the same as if it were raining.

Yes, the sensor located near the rearview mirror has an optical lens
that detects the prism effect of rain and snow. It gets cleared by the
windshield wiper and works quite well. The wiper stalk ring adjuster
can be turned toward the bottom to decrease the frequency of wiping
(as I like it) or twisted to the top to maximize the action (as my bride
would have it). On rare occasions when the sun is very close to the
horizon (and it is not raining/snowing) it will false sense and wipe
a dry windshield. Have you noticed that after you trigger the windshield
washer the blades will cycle 3-4 times then wait second or two...and
swipe one more time? Designed to catch and clear any last drips!
