Default Used ES up to $20K

Looking for a used ES350 for my 70 year old aunt. I'm making an assumption to stick with the redesigned model 2013 and newer, or is that a wrong assumption as a 2011/2012 are still good?

Default mostly cosmetic and safety upgrades

To me, the main upgrade for 2013 (Gen 6) was the implementation of spindle grill and also safety improvements to rear crash and headrest protection plus some crash mitigation features on high end trims. 2016 sees another safety upgrade to small frontal offset and more advanced crash mitigation.

Mechanically the Gen 5 seems mostly the same and you'll get as good of a ride and drive from a 2011 or 2012.
