Is your iPhone 7an ATT model? If so they were having problems with the Bluetooth cutting in and out. It is an iPhone problem.

I have Samsung phone and I have the same problem. So I don't think it is type of phone issue. I also don't think it is phone service provider issue either. Streaming music is my predominant way of listening to music. I tried streaming music from different sources like Spotify, amazon, google and I experienced the same issue with all of them. I noticed that it happens when driving in certain areas almost predictably and usually driving in the city. This makes me think it is some type of interference with the Bluetooth connection, like electromagnetic interference. This is just a guess. I have to say it is very annoying. Maybe the Bluetooth technology needs improvement.

Thumbs up i fixed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I removed the pone from the car. Turned off the car. plugged the phone into usb port. restarted the car, followed instructions for reinstallation of the phone. work perfectly.
What I'm going to do - to hedge my bet is plug in my phone when I get into the car. I will accept applause and flowers- I've been troubled with this for the last year - made me think of selling the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default At lexus - they told me they didn't believe me

When I first had the problem, I bought an android phone because I thought it was my iPhone 4s that was doing it. then when I got the android, it started happening after a few months. got rid of the android phone. so basically, every time I went back to lexus - the "expert" said "are you sure you know how to add in a phone???" basically telling me they thought I was crazy. I'm not (at least not certifiable) but there is a fix. even though it cost me $1500 in phones.

I am not sure we are talking about the same problem. My blue tooth connection cuts in and out when I am streaming music and not all the time. usually it works well. It happens only when driving into certain areas, and once I drive away from a particular area the connection is back to normal.

Removing the phone from the list and re-establishing a connection should be the first step in troubleshooting. Since you were complaining of a Bluetooth issue, your cable has no impact on it.
