SiriusXm Question
I just activated the 3 month SiriisXm trial.
I have about a 20 minute commute to work. About half of it is one two lane back roads that are essentially tree tunnels. While on those, the SiriusXM cuts out frequently saying "no signal" I thought the reception would be better. The traditional radio never has a problem in any car I've have over that route.
Is this normal for the satellite radio?
BTW, SiriusXM has been calling me daily starting the day after the trial. Blocked them on the cell.

Yes, that is normal. Satellite radio (and satellite TV or phones) requires a clear line of sight between the satellite and the receiver. Dense tree canopy, steep hills or mountains close to the road, tunnels, etc. can block the signal.

The interruptions certainly are annoying.

I haven’t had them yet call me, but they already want me to renew for 20 bucks a month!!!!
and I do find the same problems you do with signal loss. Letting the Sirus cancel and going the iPhone route with the Bluetooth. I’m not liking Sirius anyway.
