I disconnected the negative end of the battery for about 7 mins. Reconnected and started my ES300h 2016. The system rebooted after the update and everything was back to normal. Turned off the car and restarted, no issues. Works as normal.

I stopped by my Lexus dealer this morning. They had a separate line for navigation resets. It took less than 10 minutes. The only thing lost was the digital clock on the dash behind the steering wheel.
The dealer said they have done about 300 since the last day and a half. It was very efficient and fast.

Took me a while to find the 12V, had to look at the picture in the Manual (it's in the trunk on the starboard side, under a plastic cover, FYI), but 5 minutes disconnecting the 12V worked fine for my 300h hybrid.

On the ES300h the 12 volt battery is in the trunk on the right side behind a plastic cover that easily pulls away from the battery. You need to disconnect the negative (black) cable for a minute or two then reattach it.
