My 2013 ES300h UL has double pane but my 2015 ES350 UL does not. Not sure why.

Then that's it.... Is probably only on 300h...
I called Lexus and they confirmed that 350 does not come with double pane glass

How does one know? Is it printed on the glass? Also, I don't understand why the 300 would have it and the 350 wouldn't.

If you look at the glass edge and if you have double-paned glass, you can see 3 layers. Two of them are the two panes of glass, and the third is an air spacer between them.

Not only does it appear that some ES vehicles come with double-paned and glass and some have only 2 panes of glass, it also appears that there are different versions of the double-paned glass sourced from different manufacturers. On some of the double-paned windows, there is a small groove/channel on the edge of the glass between the two panes of glass. On others, all the two panes and the spacer panel between them are all on the same plane.

It also appears that some ES vehicles, regardless of whether they are Ultra Luxury, Luxury, or Premium package, have the double-paned glass, and some don't. My guess would be that the difference is based on Lexus getting its glass from multiple sources and on which of those sources was in use at the time of the vehicle build.

So I'm guessing if the different types of glass are due to using different suppliers, the performance is similar?

Here is what I have found.

My 2013 ES300h UL has double pane on the front only and the etching says Lamisafe. On the edge of the glass you can actually see the 2 pieces laminated together.

My 2015 ES350 UL has a thicker glass in the front than back but does not appear to be double laminated and the etching says Temperlite.

Ok, so I just went and looked at the front and rear windows. The front is clearly thicker, has a seam down the middle, and is labeled "Temperlite". The rear windows are thinner, no seam, and are labelled "Nippon Safety". 2013 ES350. So at this point I don't know if I have the double pane or not, but don't care as the car is quiet enough for me...

The front two door windows in my 2014 ES UL has a "v" groove at the top...indicating two panes of glass.

I just went out and did a thorough evaluation. My 2013 has Lamisafe glass on the front windows, including the windshield. The Pano glass and rear window are Temperlite. The rear windows are labeled as Nippon Safety. Here's a couple pic's:

Front driver's glass:
