Bluish tint (stain!) on seat
The car is <3 months old, and I looked over the other day to see a bluish tint on the edge closest to the door of the front passenger seat. When I bought the car the finance lady warned me that blue jeans could leach into the seats but I thought she was just trying to scare me into buying a coating for the seats, which I didn't buy. I haven't tried to clean it yet. Anyone else had a problem like this?

While at an auto-show I did notice an ES UL had a really bad case of jean stain all over the seat. Since my ES has black seats I can't see any jean stains, however on my father's 08 Tundra it's noticeable in the same location as you mention on all seats I tired leather cleaner but no luck getting it out ):

I have to purchase a bottle of Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel.

This is a product I used extensively when I had my parchment interior ES:

They make an awesome interior treatment too that goes on like a paint sealant, no gloss which is what I like:

You can use both on everything, leather, vinyl, etc. The shampoo does a great job removing dye transfer from the seats too.
I purchased and used both of these products per your recommendation, and found that they work exactly as promised. I initially used the interior shampoo gel to remove blue jean dye transfer, but found that the interior gel can be used for just about any marks inside. The interior guard is a barrier. Great products!

My RX also had ivory leather seats, although not perforated, did not stain. However, not cleaning or detailing it for years, the leather is more dirty than stained . I'll have to try better with the ES.

Thanks, everyone. I bought the shampoo and it cleaned the blue right off the seat with almost no scrubbing at all. The sealant arrived with a faulty spray top, so I'll have to wait a while longer to try that part out, but it's a huge relief to know that it comes off so easily.
