The insurance company declared it a loss so I went out and purchased a second one - a beautiful Hunter Green Metallic 1999 ES 300 with a tan interior. This car was four years old with only 13,000 miles on it. I drove it for 15 years when the transmission started to go out. I really wanted to get another five years out of this car as I absolutely loved this car, (I get attached to my cars), and I love not having car payments. My mechanic told me it would be stupid to pay $3,500 for a new transmission when the car is not even worth that much. He offered to purchase it for $1,000. Hmmm...more on that later. The odometer rolled over to 186,001 when I pulled up to his shop to drop off the car. This leads me to my third car - a Nebula Gray 2014 ES 350 with a light gray interior and 34,000 miles. I am experiencing culture shock as I suddenly went from driving a 1999 to a 2014. Everything is different - except for the same smooth ride. My next car will also be another Lexus. I can't imagine driving anything else.
Congratulations and welcome to Club Lexus! I have been a Lexus owner since 1998.

Congrats and welcome! I hope this one treats you as well as your others have.

Hey Lexus folks! My wife and I were one-owners of a 2003 ES 300 until some lady smacked into it and totaled it in January. Poor thing had new tires and brakes (not the lady, our car!) plus a recent timing belt replacement. 188k miles and we were expecting another 75k miles before we upgraded. The airbags didn't even deploy. We were sorry to see it go. Pearl White with Tan.

In 2007 ClubLexus helped me out tremendously when the A/C button's green LED started flashing on the ES 300 and no A/C would come out. As per instructions here, I pulled the compressor clutch relay and showed my wife where it went. She stopped at the Lexus dealer near her office, bought and installed the relay and enjoyed a cool ride home that evening. They wanted a bunch of money to diagnose the problem, and she just told them she had money and a part number, and her husband told her to just buy the part!

In February we CarMaxed a 2014 ES 350, three weeks after the accident. 22,500 miles, Luxury package with Nav, rear sunshade, BSM, Park Assist, 10-spoke 17" wheels (dealer Michelins), rain sensing wipers, useless anti-freeze wiper heater, and HID headlights. And my wife loved her old ES so much, we had to find a Starfire Pearl with Parchment. Was originally a Miami-Dade County, Florida lease, but was sitting at an Atlanta area CarMax.

9 days after we got the car it wouldn't start. It's 4 months out of warranty but CarMax warranted it for 30 days after purchase so I took it back and got a new battery. After re-reading the service history on Drivers.Lexus.com that the battery had been replaced 18 months ago, I checked the boards and I took it to my local dealer to see if it had the Network Gateway Computer problem. I would have liked to stick CarMax with that bill also, but the car passed the tests.

My wife is very pleased with the new commuter car. She feels the ride is a bit harsher than the '03, but I tried to keep its tires at the recommended 29 psi. And she feels safer in the new ride. I haven't yet had a chance to "test" Sport Mode, been too busy. I will soon

Default new Lexus ES350

I just bought another 2018 Lexus ES350 last month, this is the 4th Lexus I have owned, I really appreciated the new tech on the new car.
Hope will get more information from the other owners.
Thanks.

We purchased our first Lexus two Fridays ago. It is a 2016 ES350 with Nav, about 11k miles on it. Atomic Silver. I detailed it last weekend (clay bar, polish, wax..); it is absolutely gorgeous. I found "junkman2000"'s vids via the detailing forum here on clublexus forum. Learned a lot from his vids.

Default First Lexus

Hello, I'm a 23 year old male nurse in New Jersey. Just bought my first car, 2015 crafted line Es350. 21k miles currently. Ultra white exterior with 18" black wheels. Red/black interior. So far tinted the windows, 20% rear and 30% front. Also added a tint stripe on the windshield because the sun really bothered me when driving. Looking into new wheels and tires soon.

Welcome and congrats! I don't see any crafted line ES's around here. The only ones I saw were when they were on the dealer's lot. It's definitely unique!
