Default Front arm rest

Hello,

2018 es with 22500 miles, I have a fairly quiet cabin but noticed lately when I use my front arm rest I get a snapping noise when there's pressure on it. Not sure what's going on inside it. Any help of solution is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Something in the arm rest or console is loose. Or there is something large in the storage compartment which is preventing the arm rest from closing completely?

Hi ,

It's strange the arm rest console is empty but if I open it and press down on the top cover there is a snapping sound, it also happens when the top is shut tight and my arm is resting on it as well. There has to be something inside the cover that came loose. Not sure though.

There is an older thread here that deals with loose or missing screws within the console cover/armrest. It shows how to effect a repair. Check it out at https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...to-remove.html.
