The 2nd Pic looks like a UL with driver seat bolster? Does he mean the ML System?

if it was ML, AFAIK it would say ML on it.

Yes I know I have a UL. I was thinking maybe he was asking about the Non ML vs the ML?

Neither is ML, which is why I was wondering why the OP was asking.

Again I was just taking a guess, because it does seem that what He posted is the same, but maybe he was inquiring about something different?

I think your question is best directed to wait for the poster to answer.

The only difference I see is the Dolby digital symbol under the track buttons towards the right. The first one has that symbol the second one does not. However I don't have ML nor nav so the layout i
s completely different than mine. Would have no idea which one would represent an ML system.

It was directed to the OP. Sorry for any confusion.

Why exactly are you asking the forum this? Is this a test?

Edit: Now I see it's year related. The 1st one has an SD card slot for Nav. The 2nd one is a 2013, or 2014. Is that all you were looking for?

The top one is the 2015+ ES which has the navigation software saved on an SD card under the slot you see. The bottom one is 2013-2014 which is stored on the hard drive and thus has no SD card slot you see there in the newer ones.

So no SD means no Nav. Is there a reason for the question?

Yes. I'm looking to buy a 2016+ ES and I'm not familiar with it.
