Does anyone notice a whirring sound when rotating their steering wheel quickly? I notice it on my 2013 es350 when making tight turns quickly like turning into a parking spot. It’s just while I’m turning the wheel and seems to be related to the rate of rotation of the steering wheel? I bought this car used so I don’t know if it has always been like this. I know these are electric steering.

I also get a sound from the steering column when starting the car as it seems to adjust the wheel a bit every time. Not having owned a Lexus before with the electric steering and adjustable steering column, I’m wondering if this is ordinary.

I'll have to check the boot. But, in my searches of the forum, it seems my sound is probably different. I'll capture a video to let others compare.
