Default Actuator

My left drivers side door actuator has gone out on my Lexus ES 350 2013 Anu advice on how to get it fixed and not have to pay the dealer a ton of money to fix?

To save money I would go to my local salvage yard and get an actuator from a wrecked Lexus. Then either you can replace it or have a mechanic open the door panel and do it. You would save a lot of money by using an independent garage and a used part.

FWIW, it's not that difficult to change, imo. You should be able to do it in 45 minutes or less. I used one of the cheap amazon acutators on mine and it felt worse than stock at first, but after 6 months it feels just like the oem ones when I open the door.

Actuators plus. These are remanufactured. they send you one and then they supply you with a package and you send the old one back. Drivers door was hard as you had to line up the rod and the manual key lock rod, but total it took me an hour and that included cleaning the door panel.
