Default Fire Extinguisher

I want to put a small automotive/marine fire extinguisher in the trunk of a 2016 ES 350. It is about 4 inches in diameter and about 16 inches long. I don't mind drilling a hole and using machine screws. Does anybody know where the best place is in the trunk?

I guess you were not a Boyscout :-) "Be Prepared" is the motto.
I am a retired physician and I have always been in the habit of keeping emergency stuff in the car, especially since 9-11....was less than a mile from the Pentagon.

Bolt it down well, that’d be a bullet in a crash.

I always have a moving box "book box" in my trunk with emergency supplies...always have. However, I grew up in Alaska and having blankets, reflectors, and such, just made sense. Nonetheless, I still have a box with a blanket, ice scraper, etc. My old car I had an emergency fire extinguisher, but I do not have one now. Also the blanket comes in handy often for lots of reasons. And things in the box do not rattle around and stay put.

I bought two of these for both of our trunks. Keeps everything organized and also keeps things from rolling around.

i grew up in ohio and i always have a small box like a file box that i have a few things for emegerncy in my trunk ever since i was 16 i always had the box thats where anythign from all my files from service history and warranty paperwork and a small toolkit screwdriver little wratchet set bottle of bug spray and cleaning wipes to clean the car interior and small roll of paper towels for checking oil and other fluid levels a roll of ( Charmon Blue ) the soft toilet paper for emergency use lmao yeah my father always gave me a hard time about that lol im like what you exspct me to use the toilet paper in gas stations that crap paper leaves rash on my bumb lmao.
oh and back before i found out that fix a flat was actualy bad for your tires had that stuff now i keep a small tire inflator that plugs into the power outlet and a few other things like flash lite and that
but now the ES300h trunk is smaller than the ES350 and i have to figute out how to not sacrafice to much of the trunk space so ill probably end up downsizing to whatever might fit into the sparte tire well with the tire in that also
