As far as a "Tune Up" Maybe do a coolant flush and spark plugs around 75-100K miles, that's about all I can think of. As far as the radio, can you be more specific?

Thx for the reply, what's the did between a tune up and what u told me to do? As far as my radio, it there's no sound coming out from it. Nothing has to do with speakers or snubbing like that. My Bluetooth works fine. It's like it's not catching the signal for the radio or something.

"Tune Up" is really just a general term nowadays. Can mean different things to different people. As far as necessary maintenance I don't think you need any more than that.

Radio: Does sound come out when you use a different source like radio or USB? Does the screen display correctly?

Yes. When using Bluetooth or USB it works, just not the radio. No am or FM. Satellite also works btw, not just subscribed.

No sound at all. I've heard Lexus and Toyota had this problem, thought maybe someone on here would know about it.

Where did you hear this? I've been on this forum for 6 years and don't remember anyone with your issue.

Have you asked them what the issue ended up being?

That's interesting. If the new head unit doesn't fix it, it's definitely your wiring. Maybe take a look at the wiring. If it's pre-owned maybe someone was messing around with it. Make sure nothing is left open and that all the connectors to the head unit are snug. I've never had this issue with factory radios on any of my Toyotas (and I have/ had a LOT). But, I had a similar issue with an aftermarket stereo once, but that's because my ground wasn't wired right. So take a look at that too.

If all else fails hopefully the new head unit fixes it. Let me know.
