Default Mirror hardwire identification.


Hello all,
i have a 2013 Lexus ES350. I want to install escort 9500ix radar detector via mirror wire. But i do not know which wire is power, which one is ground. The mirror-wire color includes blue, red, light-grey, black and white-black. Can you pls help me out?

yeah, I did search and saw a topic talk about this for 2016 ES, saying that the Negative is black-white; the Positive is light brown.
And I also saw some other on Youtube, saying that the Nagetive is grey; and the Positive is red...
that why confuses me a lot. I do not have the test machine/ tools to check it. So in case I do wrongly, anything happens to my vehicle?

In order to complete a job such as this you require some basic tools. A multi meter cost about $20.00, wire cutters, shrink tubing, and electrical tape. Wiring anything incorrectly would cause damage... Good Luck...

Just get the wiring diagram from Toyota Techinfo web site.
