Default MPG question

Hey everyone, you may remember me buying a 13 ESh Ultra Lux a couple weeks ago. Upon 3 or so weeks of driving, i'm averaging about 34.5 MPG country road/interstate driving. Is this normal? I use Eco mode most of the time and sport mode sparingly. I enjoy getting that high but was kind of expecting higher. Any input on this?

Have a 2013 ES300h and have averaged 37 mpg since day one. This is typical mixed driving. Very pleased for a car this size. Use Mobil 1 and keep tires cold at 34 psi.

since i opted a hybrid, i wanted to maximize the gas mileage and gas mileage only. i rarely go out of eco even when getting on interstates unless i need to, and average about 40~41 by around 1/5th of the tank. i think you certainly fall within the normal range with your style of driving.

Yes, your mileage seems a tad low, but it really depends a lot on your driving style. We average about 36 or 37 on mostly city driving (calculated - not from the dash reading). We had one tank that hit 40 and some change and one winter tank during severe cold that dropped down to about 33. With that said, I don't think your mileage is terribly out of line.
