Default Tints on lease

Hello all,

I tried searching for tinting regulations on leases but couldn't come across any information on this forum. I wanted to throw 20% tints on my '15 ES350 Gray. I think the car looks much better with tints than without.

Any idea if it will void the warranty?

Please disregard this post. After doing some research, I found out that as long as you return the car as when you first leased. There should be nothing to worry about.

If returning the leased car "as first leased" means removing the tint from the windows, be cautious of the rear window defrost wires. They often get damaged when tint is removed.

I have had virtually all my cars tinted after leasing them as the FL heat virtually demands it. No dealer has told me that they needed me to remove the tint before turning it in. I'm sure it served as an incentive for the certified pre-owned customer. As long as it is a LEGAL quality tint job I'm not sure there would be any objection.
