For the taillights I had to order special sockets and then had to modify them to fit. The Lexus plug goes into the adapter and the adapter goes into the taillight housing. It was not nearly as complicated as it sounds. They've been in for almost 2 years. I took and posted photos of the sockets and the procedure a long time ago. There's also a video showing the taillight blinking with the LED in place. I'll try to locate it and provide a link for everyone interested. I didn't convert the puddle lights but it sounds like a good project for the future.
