2014 ES350 Condenser Coil Damage
Anyone else have their AC condenser punctured by a flying object? Apparently a projectile about the size of a BB flew through the front grill and punctured my AC condenser coil. No other visible damage to the grill so it had to pass through the grill slats which are about 3/4" apart. Repair runs about $1800 and not covered by warranty.
Yes, I have heard of that but it was usually a rock flying up from under the front bumper after bouncing off of the road. Your dealer could help you out with this repair but certainly doesn't have to. You comprehensive insurance might cover the damage caused by a flying object which I would say was a rock rather than a BB or pellet. Good luck - that's an expensive repair.

This was a problem on GEN 8 Honda Accords too, maybe I'll add it to my ES350.
Gutter guard from Home Depot, zip ties and flat black paint.
Cut to fit, paint it and zip tie it behind the grill.
This is not my old Accord, but you get the idea.
