Recent prices paid for 2014 ES?
I am looking at buying a 2014 ES fully loaded that lists for right at $50k. What kind of discounts are currently being offered on the ES model? Anyone have recent experience buying one?

Discounts are very region dependent. West coast seems to have some of the better ones. Midwest not so much and that is where I purchased my '14ES a couple of months ago for a couple of thousand off of sticker price. There is a thread on prices paid somewhere, but they are difficult to compare especially if trade-ins and financing are involved.

I recently got. Fully loaded ES 350 UL/ML plus everything. Dealer said invoice was $50,300 but I got it for an even $50K. The biggest problem for most is the availability of these fully loaded vehicles. If you want one and see one, you gotta go for it. Lexus doesn't send many PCS equipped vehicles, according to my salesman. I was happy. North Texas dealer.

Yes, you would be pretty hard pressed to push the MSRP price of a fully loaded ES350 much past $50,000, and the only way to do so would be if the dealer was artificially padding the MSRP with lots of high mark-up dealer installed options. And, yes, the invoice for a $50,000 MSRP ES350 should be just a little under $45,000.

Sorry...to clarify, my fully loaded/everything 2014 ES 350 was $50K walkout price. So, $900 shipping, $3000 for tax, so about $46,000 for the car more or less. Based on Edmunds, that's right at invoice. I'm happy. =)

I have a 2013 ES but looking for another color with the ULTRA luxury package. I'm having better luck digging for diamonds in the desert. My dealership scanned the area all the way to California with no luck. They say the best time to buy is at end of year when the new models are hitting the floor. If the dealership is "way overstocked" you're in luck.Lots of wiggle room on the price. I've always bought my cars in or around December.

There could also be another factor at play with regard to availability of an ES 300h with the UL package. Even though we are probably still at least 2-3 months away from the time when 2015 ES vehicles will be available, it could be the case that Lexus has already started to ramp down production of the 2014 vehicles in preparation for production of the 2015 vehicles. If that is the case, it would be likely that some combinations of packages and equipment might no longer be available, even via a special order. The apparent scarcity of 2014 ES 300h vehicles with the UL package could well be an indication that Lexus has, in fact, stopped producing that combination for 2014 models and that the last ones made were sent to specific regions where Lexus felt that the demand for them might be the greatest. In any case, I would think that the availability of specific package and equipment combinations would be greater with 2015 vehicles once they do become available.
