Default H11 "halogen" bulbs won't fit into the fog lamp housing of 13' ES !!!

I've tried few different brand but they all don't fit. They are just a fraction too big(the base of the bulbs) so they won't go all the way into the opening of the housing. Factory bulbs has H16 written on it but they are not really H16. Beside HID, anyone has installed halogen bulbs to their 13' ES with success please let me know. Thanks.

Not what I wanted to hear. One of my fog lights went out (really I only have 1500 miles WTF?) and I ordered a pair of these which just came into stock http://www.vleds.com/6k-white-6-led-...11-1-pair.html
No you got me worried.

I think you need the straight base ones. Not the 80 degree ones. Check this thread...

The same LEDs available in 5K would have matched the 4300K HIDs much better if that was what you were looking to do..

Xpcgamer, the base of the LED bulbs may be different than the halogen bulbs. I hope it will work for you. Please let me know as I will order it if it fits. Thanks

I'd be interested too, but would order the 5K LED, if it fits. Hopefully, there's no issues with this affecting Lexus warranty (electrical) or longevity of bulb either.

Why the need to modify the fog lights in the first place?

I hit my brights every time I come across a laser-light show fog light conversion.

They're not driving lights.

txes, usually there is no need to modify fog lights in our cars but this new ES' bulb has only 19W output.......looks like an old maglite which battery is about to die !

Guy I got the confirmation that the LED bulbs have shipped. As soon as I get them I will dust off my DSLR and snap a few pics.

Forgot I posted on this thread. Bulbs came in. The bag was branded 8k where I ordered 6k. The bulbs are H11 all I did was bend the edge of the tabs up about 2mm to get them to twist in the fog light. They snapped in no problem and came on. I'll take some pics later and start a new thread. I bought them directly from the site I linked.

I have a set of H11 HID bulbs, and can not get the H11 bulbs to fit. Did you bend all of the edges or just a few of them? There is one large tab and two Smaller ones,

osp42, bend or cut all of them slighty then it will fit into the housing.
