Pricing Thread - Deals you are getting?
Thanks Bunka! We taking the ES300h on a 6hr roadtrip tomorrow-can't wait to stretch its legs. I am trying to get my mother-in-law a Venza V6 limited ~$28K or a Highlander XLE ~$33K before the NX comes out. Otherwise she will probably want it and it will be closer to $50K. lol
Congrats on getting nearly 15% off that vehicle. That is about the most i have seen ANYONE getting off an ES300h so you did well. Hopefully we can find a dealer around here with a similar higher-end biuld willing to match that discount should we end up going with the ES300h instead of the NX300h. We are still (impatiently) waiting on actually driving a NX before we make our decision on which vehicle to go with
I'm envious of the US market and its low Lexus prices. Across the pond in the Middle Kingdom, the cheapest ES250 is $50k, the basic ES300h model goes for $60k while the GS450h goes for over $100k. I've been seeing loads more ES250s being bought by young professional types who would have previously gone for an Audi A4L or VW Passat.

Longo dropped the price to $43,390? Was that out the door, or still have to add tax and license?? Longo typically is not real good with prices. Who did you deal with?
I will report my numbers when it happens. I'm still,,,,,maybe I should say, the wife is still going back and forth with what car she wants!!!!!
We were set on the ES350, the ES350H if we could get a good deal (doubtful). Now my heavy footed wife has driven the GS350.

Thanks lomein123! I used your deal to get mine today. Got a 2014 ES300h with luxury and navi for 40030 (MSRP: $46,928) so 42900 DO with tint and car clear bra at Sterling McCall Lexus in Houston. Everything was great until I got into financing where the finance guy was just being rude and super unprofessional. I had dinner plans after so I decided not to make a fuss over it and ruin my night and my new car purchase. However, I will be taking this unacceptable treatment on Monday when I get some last minute stuff done to the car. Other than that great experience there, just one bad apple. This is my fourth Lexus from Sterling McCall in less than a year- sales staff are great!
I would hope that you can still get a killer deal on an ES300h as there are people getting 2014 ES300H's discounted as much as 15% off MSRP
We just bought our first Lexus on black Friday.
Starfire 2015 ES350 stickered at $44344. We bought it at dead invoice $41411 before negotiation on our trade in. Trade was a 2009 WRX with about 55k miles that needed some exterior loving due love bugs and door dings. OTD was $30500 and we got a free tv.

I just purchased a 2015 ES 350 with Luxury package and a rear spoiler a few weeks ago. I was happy with the way the sale was handled. Traded in a 2008 IS 250 which I got a decent price on first shot, so I was not expecting much negotiation with the cost of the new one. I was simply given the MSRP, and then shown the invoice price and was told that I was being offered the invoice price straight away. I know I could have negotiated from this point since Lexus holdback is 2%, but the way it was presented made me feel at ease that I didn't have to do the whole back and forth that usually comes with purchasing a vehicle to get a good price. Probably not the best price as I said, but a good price that made everyone happy and without the stress of dealing with the sales manager telling me how great a deal I was getting, then the trip back to the sales manager's office for the salesman to see who will cut their commission first. No bad feelings all the way around, and I know there wasn't a huge markup and a "sucker"sticker on my forehead. All that added back and forth for a 1k payoff wasn't worth it to me.
MSRP 44,844
Sale price 42,362
Out the door at 28,006
Tax, document fees, etc 1990
Oh, and I also sent them 100 miles out of their way to pick up the color I wanted and they threw in some all weather mats for the trouble after it couldn't be sourced from the original quoted location. Atomic Silver / Gray interior which isn't available often in my area.

Sure. I'm positive other people have done better than me in negotiations. I personally don't see taking things past a reasonable and comfortable level. I was just sharing my experience, which to me was positive as far as car sales are concerned. I couldn't find your deal in going back a few pages, but i'm sure you left nothing on the table which is great and works for you. My experience works for me so we are both happy.
