Question 10.25" Android HU + Mark Levinson compatibility?

Hey everyone!

Picked up a 2018 ES300h UL a few weeks ago and am loving the car-- but not loving the lack of Carplay/AA. In any case, I've been looking at options out there and was curious if anybody here has installed any of the options around, specifically with the Mark Levinson audio system in their car.

The Hamilton Motor Co. is the only one that explicitly mentions compatibility with the Mark Levinson system. I appreciate that they offer US support and ship here, but looking over posts through the last few years it seems like the price has shot up ($869!) within the last six months or so.

Knowing that these systems are likely made by the same manufacturer, I've looked at other options that offer the same basic setup; Snapdragon processors (gotta have that 8GB RAM), wireless CarPlay/AA, swapping between factory/android displays, so I've expanded my search through other resellers, mainly 4x4shop and AliExpress. I'm fairly versed with the technologies involved in a head unit swap, but am a little puzzled by the system Lexus uses in these cars for interaction with the ML external amp.

I've tried searching through this forum and found positive reviews here and there about Lexion systems (i'd prefer not to have that sort of 'floating' tablet style)-- but none of the posts I've seen have explicitly mentioned they work with the ML system. Also, while I'm technologically versed, I'm not an electrical engineer and am unsure on differences in voltages and the like-- don't want to blow the amp.

Anyways, if you've installed an AliExpress or 4x4shop unit into your car-- please let me know if it works well. Not completely averse to the Hamilton system, but would love to get something down to around the ~$500/600 level for this upgrade. Thanks!
