2007 ES350

ML system- I want to disconnect the ML subwoofer and put a box with 2 12's in the trunk. In my 2002 ES it was pretty simple- I added a hi/low converter and installed the amp/woofers. I'm guessing the procedure is a little different with a ML system

Anyone keep the factory ML and just add subs?

 

I’m actually looking to do the exact same thing!!! I was told to just disconnect the speaker wire from the sub, run tour line out converter off those and you’re good… Haven’t had the chance to do it, though 🤷🏼‍♂️

Got this done- install took about an hour. Disconnected rear sub. Connected LOC into rear sub wires

 

Nice…. Where did they run your remote wire?? Fuse box?

 

Not sure- I told them before they started that I want to know where they run it to but I forgot to ask after the job was done.

Having 12 inch subs makes such a huge difference. The stock ML sub just sucks. Started to make noise at high volume. Glad it's "gone" (they disconnected it)

Boss amp wire kit- $20 from amazon
rockford fosgate LOC- $20 from amazon (there are chinese cheapies on amazon but I'd go with a reputable company for stuff this.... like RF or kicker etc).
amp and LOC install- $120
