I have a big dilemma 2010 3.5 the rear middle spark plug shattered when I installed it I have tried everything to remove the fragments. Shop air 150 I am using the pistol grip blow nozzle with a 45 degree bend getting down maybe halfway there is also a piece of duct tape in there from trying to pull up the pieces that stayed in there. The center terminal is sticking straight up in the middle all the porcelain is missing. The plug itself is tight so nothing is going into the cylinder on top of the piston. I used the small rubber stubby blow gun but doesn't fit in the well also used the pistol grip with 45 degree bend Please help btw the intake is off so I have a little more room. I have an inspection camera Im using as well.
Have used all sorts of pick up tools tape etc with no success please help Thanks!

That sucks but this isn't an ES specific problem. I did a quick Google search and stumbled across this video

Thanks for posting this as a "word to the wise." I haven't broken a spark plug in my 50+ years of wrenching, but understand how it would be possible with this engine layout, with its accessibility issues on the rear bank.
I would try using a small flexible hose attached to my blow gun. If that didn't work, I would try a small flexible hose attached to my canister vacuum. The flexible pickup tool shown in the video would also be worth a try, especially on the tape. If all else failed, I would consider removing the valve cover, but only after securing the loose porcelain with some sort of spray glue, so it wouldn't contaminate the oil while removing the cover.
