It's hard to get a pic that shows it but the middle front 12 in. of the hood on my ES350 has what looks like dents in it. I looked closer at it today in the sun and see that it is symmetrical. The two dents on the left side are exactly matched on the right. Is this how the hood is formed or do I just happen to have exact matching dents in my hood?

Sounds like some idiot "mechanic" didn't know how to properly latch your hood. Here's how one shouldn't do it--let the hood down to the last few inches and then put the heels of one's hands on top to push the hood down until it latches. The right way to do it is to bring the hood down until it is about 12 inches from the latched position, then drop it and let it latch under its own weight.
