Default 2008 Seat temp control dials, frozen

Hi, Forum Group: I just noticed the seat temp control dials (both) were somehow stuck/frozen at the "0" position. I cannot turn it when the engine is ON or OFF.

Haven't used that for a while, so not sure when the problem started. The car has about 120,000 miles on it and still runs great. Owned it since 2010 and it has been problem-free so far. I searched the Forum site but didn't find any thread discussing this subject (very possible that my search was not comprehensive). I'd like to see if I can do a little troubleshooting to confirm the cause. Thank you for your advice.

Did you spill anything over them? Coke or something like that?

Thanks for the reply,..Don't recall any mishap like that! The switches (both) are not sticky to turn, they just felt locked in place. Very strange. I removed the module from car, and then the shroud to expose the little black-box. Although there are 2 tabs on the sides of the box, I tried to open the tabs and pull the circuit out, but they just won't budge. Must be another tab somewhere holding the circuit board in place. If any member has experience with it, please advise. Thanks.

Buy a used one on eBay. They are around $30.
