Test everything yourself.. Make sure all switches and lights work. Open the hood and make sure the hood struts work. Do they have all the keys? Check tires for date codes (are they old and need replacement?) You don't mention if "local dealer" is a Lexus dealer or other brand or just a used car dealer. Depending on "history" plan on baselining some maintenance (oil/filter change) and consider others (trans fluid, brake fluid, Belts?)
FWIW, its really hard to guide without something to go on.. pics.. idea of maintenance etc. Obviously we cant test drive it either
Is it a color combo you like (for instance, i hate blank interiors, so thats a no go for me)? Does it have the options you want or expect? Buying used, you might find a higher optioned car more appealing than a "base" model. Before I bought my 08 just a about 6 weeks ago, I came out here and found a list that might help in regards to a "pre Purchase Inspection" or "things to consider".
Check that VVti oil line has been replace; there is a recall; line can burst unexpectedly - happened to us.
Check for oil leak on block behind PS pump; some models leak from timing cover. Our ES leaked, but a change to 10/30wt pretty much stopped it.
Check that decoupler alternator pulley has been serviced; should be replaced at 100K; it can seize up and fry the alternator - happened to us.
Check that pass window rolls up/down flawlessly; there is a problem in some models with a broken window clip - hasn't happened to our ES.
Check for transmission flare; some get it 2nd-3rd, others 3rd-4th. Hasn't happened to us.
Check that coolant was replaced at 100K, per Toyota's mainteance schedule.
Check that brake fluid in the brake reservoir is clear, not dark
and VVTi hose

Sounds nice. The issue with old cars with low mileage is that they can suffer from sitting and lack of use. In frequent maintenance. Rubber items (seals, belts, tires, bushings) still age out. Belts may look ok but honestly, it could go two ways.. no issues, or chronic small issues. "loaded" is a loaded word. You need a vin/window sticker to really know how loaded the car is. They all start out well loaded and then you add more
