Default Tire sensors:

I have an 07 es350 I still love and want to keep. Problem is the sensor light stays on and dealership
says it’s several hundred dollars to replace one. So I’m not sure if each tire has a sensor which obviously would be 4 times the expense of replacing. I can’t stand a light being on so please advise Thank you Lexus friends!

Depending on whether you have a full size spare tire there would be either 4 or 5 sensors. Each sensor cost about $70 give or take . A tire store should be able to test the sensors on the car and tell you what one is bad. Depending on how they replace it it could cost $10- $30 . Have them tested and see what they come up with .

Did they tell you it’s a sensor? It could be stuck on due to low pressure in the spare.

When our low-air light comes on, it's the spare tire. Every 2-3 years I have to air it up. On our same year Tacoma, it is the sensors that need replacing because the battery in one or more has died. Won't be long before the batteries dies out on the ES350. There are aftermarket sensors that appear to work well. For about $200, you can get 4 Autel MX 315mhz TPMS sensors and the Autel MaxiTPMS Programmer. The Programmer will clone your current sensors to the new ones. I plan on replacing mine next time I get new tires; otherwise, you will need to take the car to a tire shop to remove the tires and replace the sensors.

If it is indeed the TPMS, I got mine done at Costco. They actually have sensors but they were out of stock for so long that I ordered online from rockauto and had costco install them (including spare). It was around $175ish total for 5 TPMS and Costco installed all 5 for like $75. IIRC the ones from the car were exactly the same as the ones I got from Rockauto, Denso brand.

I just have a compact spare, but the pressure was way low. Aired it up to correct size, flat line on dash still on. Don't think it has a sensor.

Back to the dealer for more rip offs. A rcu shop rate is around $1200 plus

My yellow icon is off. I can push the reset under the dash and it blinks three times but still flat lines on the dash pressures. The tire shop says all sensors are working after replacing for $80 at a tire shop, the dealer replaced one for $345 yuck. Back to the dealer, hope it's not a rcu, the shop rate is 1200 plus

My TPMS light came on last year, it was a bad ID4 sensor battery. I bought the battery and replaced it myself. No problems so far.

No, you just need to press it where the valve is.

your kidding right? Don't you need to unscrew the nut, push the sensor into the tire and then break bead, replace bty or whole sensor then reinstall tire?

Default Lexus sensors

Lexus sensors
well I finally got the flat line solved on the dash the problem is is that Lexus replaced one sensor and then about the same time another sensor failed so I was getting these intermittent tire pressure readings on and off so I took it into the tire dealer and they replaced another sensor they said was bad but it wasn’t an OEM apparently it only works with OEM sensors there are some aftermarket sensors that will work but those didn’t so now my problem solved They only charge me $80 versus 346 for the dealer so they save my ***

Are you saying the battery is replaceable from outside the wheel, through the valve stem?
I was of the understanding the battery is within the body of the TPMS and the tire needs to come off the wheel to get to it from the inside.
Please tell me it's possible from outside and I'll giggle like a little kid ...

I'm curious, what 'flat line on the dash' are you referring to?
I only know of the yellow TPMS idiot light indicator.
Me thinks you may have a 6th gen ES 350
