Default 2007 Lexus ES 350

I am going to replace the headlight assembly on my wife's car soon. I was looking at the aftermarket deals on Amazon and elsewhere to possibly purchase. I noticed the aftermarket lights on Amazon do not have the capabilities of moving up and down and sideways like the present lights do. Will that be a noticeable problem if I do buy a set of those lights?

Your on the same boat as me, one of my headlights is badly oxidized on the inside. If you have the self leveling lights (move up and down) like me then you have HID headlights or Xenon lighting. The cheap Amazon/EBay variety are for the base halogen headlamps and will not work for our cars unless you retrofit it back to halogen which your wife would probably not be to happy about. The Xenon ones are expensive, cheapest I found was a guy on Craigslist had one for $350 and wouldn’t budge down on price, aftermarket they hover around $400 each, junkyard I haven’t found cheaper either. The 2010 and up are different as well and for some reason cheaper too. Not sure what your issue is with yours but now when it warms up a bit I’m going to try and bake it and see if I can polish the inside to see if I can get it looking better. I’m not sure if the halogen ones have the same base as the HID version, I was thinking of buying one halogen and trying to see if I could possibly steal the lens from it and install it over my HID headlight.

Here you can see my bad drivers side headlight, the 07’s seem to have an issue with oxidation. The passengers side was replaced under warranty years before I had it probably due to yellowing which explains why that one still looks so good.
