Default Need help install stock rear camera to 2008 ES350 nonNAV

I bought a 2008 ES350 stock rear camera on EBay (see pic attached), but can not figure out how to install it to my car rear panel! Anyone know how to do it or have a picture of the camera's location? Any response will be greatly appreciate and I thank you in advance.

I don’t have a picture I can get you one later but it mounts between the two license plate lights dead center. Wouldn’t you be better off buying one of the cameras where you pop out one of the license plate lights and replace it with a camera/bulb fixture. I’ve had allot of success with those in the past and they come with a rca dongle and a power dongle to make life easier. I’m all for OEM parts just going to either solder a RCA head to hopefully they gave you enough of a lead with the OEM backup camera or cut the rca head off your cord and just solder directly to the rca cable. Like I said much easier and you don’t have to drill into your car pop out light take off the cover on the inside of the trunk pop in camera plug your rca cord into the camera run it into the head unit, take two power cords and ground the ground, tap the power from reverse light or run it to the head unit. Snap trunk carpeting back in protect your wiring with loom and dress cleanly and your not done.

This is the photo of a 2010 ES License plate panel... yours should be the same or similar. You'll need to drill, file or dremel, and sand a hole like it shows in the photo. Like others say, it goes between the license plate lights.

Thanks for the picture. This is hard work so I decided to buy this instead. Merry Christmas and Happy NewYear everyone!

Well, that'll save you some work as you also need to cut a hole in the trunk lid. Thin metal so not hard, but still work if you don't want to go there.

How did you run the wire from the trunk to your head unit? Did you run it on the side beneath the bottom door panel?
