Default Hid projector housings?

I'm shopping for an ES right now and some seem like they don't come with HID/XENON lighting. I've been looking around but I havn't found any threads on getting actual HID projected headlight housings. Is it possible to just get a HID BULB kit with ballast and use the halogen projectors? I want to see the CUT OFF and LIGHT OUTPUT with HIDs in halogen vs xenon projectors. All the pictures I find here are pictures of the housings with HIDs projecting toward the camera. I was wondering if anyone has actual pictures of their lights projecting on to the street or garage door/wall. Thanks!

Hid pnp kits in a halogen projector will never be as crisp or clean. Also our HID housings have the motor with the swivel feature. One of my hid housings is oxidized inside the lens and cheapest I’ve found is 450 each so it won’t be cheap to add from a junk yard. I’d suggest find one you like off the bat even if it’s a little more.

Are there PNP kits WITH Xenon/HID projectors? 450 each for OEM isn't that bad. I also have an offroad xterra with PNP HID kit that has infiniti projectors retrofitted into the stock housing it was about 700$ but the cut off and light projection is perfect. What about overseas? Are there any for the es240 out there in asia/japan?

Why go HID when you can go LED? I have plug and play bulbs that are just as good in output if not better in energy efficiency. I’ve also upgraded my DRL to have a more JDM yellow all plug and play. No need for having new housing or kits.

I had quality Morimoto LED pnp’s in my wife’s Outlander and they looked pretty good. They don’t compare to the crispness of the cut off lines and the rainbow effect at the bottom of the cutoff of a quality high end HID OEM projecter. My Explorer has great OEM Led headlights but again there’s no cutoff line.
