Our warning light came on recently that symbolizes low tire pressure. I checked the tires and found only one that needed 2 lbs. After adding that to the tire, they are all at 30# pressure as indicated on the door frame.
The warning light on the dashboard remains "on". It never blinks. Is there a way to switch it off without going to the dealership? Could it mean something other than low tire pressure?
Thanks

If you have a full size spare you should check the pressure in that one too.
My spare was low after the car was about 5 years old. Drove me crazy until my son informed me that the spare has a sensor too. Light would go off when the spare warmed up during the day and be back on the next day when my wife would start to work. For a week my morning routine included checking her tire pressure and convincing her it was safe to drive to work only to repeat the process the next morning. That lesson will not soon be forgotten.
thanks Al, I did check the pressure of the spare and it was slightly higher than the other tires. Ironically, the lite on the dash went out a day later. Go figure.
problem solved. This forum has been very valuable resource.
