Default TPMS Sensors

2007 ES350

Light is on- pressure is good on all 5 tires (spare). One of them needs replacing but given age/mileage, I want to change them all and be done with it

Anyone use an aftermarket sensor? from Ali Express? from Amazon? Should I stick to OEM?

Anyone have this done at Costco/Sam's club?

Thanks

I was never happy with the fact that it only told you that a tire is low, not which one nor what pressure so I picked up this Bluetooth kit.

Looks like I need some air…good luck!

Costco for about $225 a couple of years ago. Make sure they program them afterwards. My Costco had this fantasy they would self program if I drove around and told me to return if they didn't, which is what happened. They said just pull up to the bays and tell them I need my TPMS programmed. A guy came out with some handheld thing and it took 5 minutes!
I forget what brand they used, I think it was Schrader. They work fine.
It is best to replace them when getting new tires on any vehicle over 8 years old. Saves on the labor.

I’ve tried Autel and Denso OEM, both work well, both require some sort of programming. Autel requires you to duplicate the existing IDs to the new sensors. For Denso, you program new IDs into the ECU via Toyota Techstream software. Both procedures are very simple once you understand the software.

Thanks brother Clutchless and brother Hayk

I heard the Schrader brand Costco uses is ok. Autozone has the Denso for $35. I'm going to call a couple indy tire shops and see how much they will charge to install and program. NTB said $65 for the sensor and one hour labor ($149)-----eat *****

I know a few people. Going to see if they have the tools to get it programmed. so annoying

I bought sensors from Aliexpress, OEM. Installed and they work OK. No problems with them.

Out of curiosity, I decided to check the pressure on my two front tires and what do you know, they came in at around 26 PSI. I remember checking them months ago and they were right at the 30 PSI mark.

My pump has a +/- 3 PSI so I went ahead and inflated to like 34 PSI, drove 100 feet and the light went away

This is also infuriating because this light has been on for 6 months and I've been to Jiffy Lube twice where they are supposed to inflate your tires as part of the signature oil change. They also marked my car as being vacuumed and it will was still a mess. Never again

Looks like I'm good to go

I know this isn't an ES350, but maybe this video will help you with installing your TPMS sensors if you do it yourself.
